A pair of high-quality sunglasses not only provide a fashion statement but also protect your eyes during your time flying or working on the ground. The bright light, higher altitude, and cloud reflection can do damage over long periods of time and good sunglasses are a must for every pilot.
One thing to avoid is Polarized Lenses as these can affect the colors seen by the wearer, especially aircraft with glass cockpits. Being able to see the limitation and warning colors are very important!
